Frequently asked questions

Clear answers.
Better decisions.

Understand rooftop solar, savings, system choices, approvals, installation and support before you take the next step.

01How much rooftop space is needed?+

As a rule of thumb, 1 kW needs about 80–100 sq. ft. of shadow-free roof area. Our site survey confirms the usable area and the right capacity.

02Which system is right for me—on-grid, off-grid or hybrid?+

On-grid systems prioritise bill savings, off-grid systems prioritise independent power, and hybrid systems combine grid connection with selected battery backup. We recommend a system only after reviewing your load, outage pattern, budget and goals.

03Will solar work during a power cut?+

A standard on-grid system shuts down during an outage for safety. A hybrid system with batteries can provide backup for selected loads.

04How much can I save with rooftop solar?+

Savings depend on your consumption, tariff, usable roof area, system performance and how much solar energy you use. Our proposal provides a site-specific estimate after reviewing your electricity bills and property.

05Do you assist with subsidy and approvals?+

Yes. For eligible residential projects, NAVIXIA explains the requirements, prepares and checks technical documentation within our scope, guides portal and DISCOM steps, tracks pending actions and keeps you informed. Final approval and subsidy release remain with the relevant authorities.

06How long does installation take?+

A typical residential installation can be completed in a few days after design, approvals and material readiness. Timelines vary by project and DISCOM process.

07What warranties are included?+

Warranty terms differ by manufacturer and component. Before work begins, we explain the applicable product, performance and workmanship coverage, including important conditions and exclusions.

08Does NAVIXIA provide maintenance and after-sales support?+

Yes. We provide preventive guidance, performance reviews, documented support and a team you can reach after commissioning. The recommended service plan depends on system size, site conditions and usage.
